System Adaption Research of ColorOS 12

During my internship at OPPO, I collaborated closely with Product Management, UX Design, and Operations teams to conduct UX research supporting the international adaptation of ColorOS 12. Our objective was to understand and validate user engagement with the system's upgrade through a structured quantitative survey, targeting 40 million global OPPO users. This research centered on assessing user perceptions, such as the appeal and clarity of new icons and names for OPPO’s built-in apps, and evaluating the alignment of these elements with users' mental models regarding app functionality and navigation. The insights gained were vital in guiding strategic decision-making, ensuring that the system's design resonates with user expectations and enhances their overall experience.

OPPO Overseas Browser Positioning

During my internship at OPPO, I had the opportunity to contribute to the overseas browser team's initiative to develop their product into a versatile, all-in-one browser. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, my role was to anchor our product development strategy in deep user understanding. We conducted in-depth user interviews to capture a comprehensive picture of users' preferences, needs, habits, and the challenges they faced with current browsers. To validate preliminary insights and ensure a data-driven approach to our product strategy, we spearheaded a quantitative survey that reached a broad user base. This was a crucial step in corroborating the qualitative findings, providing a strong empirical basis to guide our product development.
